Scrap Mystery Quilt

NOTE: Please complete Part One before going any further.

Part Two

Using the 1/3 yard of each the light and dark fabrics cut the following (or the equivalent from your scrap bag):

light fabric strips 3-1/2 " wide by whatever length (if this comes out of your scrapbag it is whatever length available, if you are cutting from a full piece of fabric is will be approximately 44")

dark fabric strips 3-1/2" wide by whatever length (if this comes out of your scrapbag it is whatever length available, if you are cutting from a full piece of fabric is will be approximately 44")

strip piece them together so that you have a strip similar to figure 3

Cut across the seam for pieces that are 2-1/2" x 6-1/2". Press seam towards the dark fabric.

You will need 36 pieces of the configuration similar to that shown in figure 4.
