C 1900 NINE PATCH Crib Quilt, 42"X60". Great sampler of blue chambrays, double pinks, turkey red prints, and shirtings. Fabrics are strong and there is no evidence of wear. c 1875 Double Four-Patch with double sash ~78"X88". A wonderful sampling of fabrics from 1835-1875, this quiltmaker definately had a DEEP scrap bag! EXCELLENT, never washed condition, hand pieced and quilted by the piece, back is a madder brown floral print. One wool challis fabric has 2 small splits from age.
