Meet the team

Paul Lambert
Co-founder & CEO
Paul is a repeat entrepreneur who dreamed of starting a company that would put the best skills of Silicon Valley to work in the fight against Climate Change. Before Quilt he was a Partner at Google’s Area 120, a Product Manager working on AI, and the Founder/CEO of Learndot, an education platform.

Bill Kee
Co-founder & COO
Bill leads Quilt’s product and go-to-market efforts. Previously, he led teams developing energy efficiency technology for Google’s real estate footprint, and earlier worked on products like Gmail and Google Analytics. His family heats and cools their home with a ductless heat pump, and he’s passionate about building a much better product and adoption experience to help leave his two sons a more sustainable world.

Matthew Knoll
Co-founder & CTO
Matt leads engineering at Quilt and has built his career at the intersection of hardware and software. Matt was most recently an engineering leader at Tidal, the [X] moonshot using robotics and AI to improve ocean sustainability. His prior experience ranges from a consumer robot for children, to stratospheric internet balloons on Project Loon, to designing humanoid robotics at Rethink Robotics. Matt’s hobbies include trying to fix his central heating system to better regulate the temperature of his son’s room.
